Responsibilities
- Lead breakthrough research in quantum machine learning and error correction
- Develop novel cryptographic protocols resistant to quantum attacks
- Design and execute large-scale quantum simulations using Q# and Qiskit
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Present findings at DEF CON and IEEE Quantum Week conferences
- Mentor PhD interns from MIT and Stanford quantum programs
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DARPA research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion traps
- Published research in quantum error correction algorithms
- Expertise in Python/C++ with quantum SDKs (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of Shor's and Grover's quantum algorithms
- Strong track record of securing government research funding
- Experience mentoring quantum computing researchers
