Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware interfaces
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at global tech conferences
- Develop error-correction frameworks for practical quantum applications
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
