Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-scale industrial applications
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors with >1000 qubit stability
- Drive quantum supremacy experiments in cryptography and materials science
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $10M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journals
- Partner with IBM, Google, and Microsoft on quantum cloud integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Track record of securing government or corporate research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning frameworks
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
