Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop error-corrected quantum systems with fault-tolerance exceeding 99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents for quantum-resistant cryptography methods
- Architect scalable quantum processors operating at millikelvin temperatures
- Drive R&D for quantum machine learning frameworks targeting 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic engineering
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction
- Mastery of Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Experience with quantum machine learning algorithms (VQE, QAOA)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain government research certifications
