Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to stabilize quantum coherence in 128+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems and microwave engineering
- Create Python/C++ interfaces for quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Lead security audits for quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Publish research in Nature Physics/Quantum journals and present at IEEE conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Strong background in linear algebra, group theory, and quantum information theory
