Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment by 2026
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum simulation frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Partner with IBM, Google, and D-Wave on quantum hardware integration
- Secure DoD and NSF grants for quantum research initiatives
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Clearance for national security projects (preferred)
- Track record of securing $1M+ in research funding
