Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing platforms
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical and materials science applications
- Establish quantum security frameworks for next-gen encryption systems
- Mentor quantum software engineers in algorithm development
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and optimization
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (decoherence, gate fidelity)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
