Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for NISQ-era processors and future quantum advantage systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Research and implement quantum error correction codes for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in quantum computing
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical roadmaps for stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction, topological quantum computing, or quantum machine learning
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading technical teams and managing multi-million dollar R&D projects
