Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error correction and fault-tolerant operations
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Collaborate with industry partners to deploy quantum solutions in finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Research and prototype novel quantum hardware components
- Present architectural blueprints to executive stakeholders and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
