Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum algorithms into practical implementations
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Research emerging quantum technologies to maintain competitive advantage
- Create technical documentation and architecture blueprints for quantum software stacks
- Present quantum computing solutions to enterprise clients and partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints and optimization techniques
- Experience leading technical teams on complex R&D projects
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
