Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for financial and government systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in prototyping
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world deployment in cloud environments
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum supremacy research initiatives
- Document quantum system specifications and security frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years building quantum computing systems with superconducting qubits
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum applications
- Security clearance eligibility for government-contracted projects
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
