Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in building quantum processors
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Collaborate with cloud providers to integrate quantum solutions with classical infrastructure
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial quantum system development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and hardware-software co-design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical simulation tools
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
