Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs in residential and park settings
- Provide fresh water, administer basic medications (if certified)
- Monitor pet behavior and report health concerns
- Maintain detailed activity logs via our mobile app
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Build trust-based relationships with clients and pets
- Complete pet waste cleanup and maintain clean equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Passionate about animal welfare and client service
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
