Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (up to 4 per group) using proper leash techniques
- Provide real-time photo and video updates to pet parents via mobile app
- Monitor pets' health, behavior, and environmental safety during outings
- Maintain accurate client records and service documentation
- Administer basic care (water, treats) as specified in client profiles
- Transport pets to/from appointments using company-provided vehicles
- Attend monthly training sessions on pet safety and first aid
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Smartphone proficiency with photo/video capabilities
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to San Diego service areas
