Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4 per group)
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via mobile app
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and behavior notes
- Administer basic medications (training provided)
- Adapt routes based on weather and pet needs
- Build trust with pet parents through consistent communication
- Participate in monthly pet care workshops
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with data
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Exceptional time management and reliability
- Positive attitude and love for all dog breeds
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Local Nashville residency preferred
