Responsibilities
- Execute safe and enjoyable dog walks on established routes in Colorado Springs, accommodating various breeds and energy levels.
- Ensure all dogs are securely leashed and under constant visual and physical control at all times.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by promptly collecting and disposing of waste.
- Monitor dogs for signs of distress, illness, or injury, and report critical issues to our office immediately.
- Administer medication (if applicable) and provide fresh water according to individual pet instructions.
- Observe and report any property damage or behavioral issues to the pet parent via our app.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dog walking, pet sitting, or animal handling is highly preferred but not strictly required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for route navigation.
- Strong understanding of canine behavior, body language, and safety best practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat) with a positive attitude.
- Must be punctual, responsible, and able to manage time effectively.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and reference verification.
