Responsibilities
- Provide safe and reliable dog walking services to clients' homes across Stockton
- Exercise dogs according to specific client instructions and health requirements
- Monitor pet behavior and report any concerns to pet owners promptly
- Maintain accurate service logs and client communication records
- Administer basic care (feeding, water refills) as requested by clients
- Adhere to all safety protocols and animal handling best practices
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation
- Passionate about animal welfare and experienced handling dogs
- Available for flexible morning/afternoon/evening shifts
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to walk multiple dogs simultaneously (training provided)
- Comfortable working independently in various neighborhoods
- Basic pet first aid certification preferred (training available)
- Background check and clean driving record required
