Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in designated Cincinnati neighborhoods
- Provide attentive companionship and monitor pet health during outings
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each client's dog
- Administer basic care (treats, water) as per owner instructions
- Communicate proactively with pet owners via app updates
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and leash requirements
- Report any behavioral or health concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to walk 3-5 miles daily in varying weather
- Passionate animal advocate with excellent references
- Flexible availability (early mornings preferred)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Must pass background check and pet first aid training
