Responsibilities
- Conduct Safe and Enjoyable Walks: Lead daily walks for dogs of various breeds and energy levels throughout the Indianapolis metro area.
- Pet Care Management: Feed pets, provide fresh water, and administer medications (if required) during visits.
- Client Communication: Send real-time photo and text updates to pet owners to keep them informed and reassured.
- Maintain Hygiene: Always clean up after pets immediately and ensure the environment is tidy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to our safety protocols and ensure the well-being of every animal in your care.
- Schedule Flexibility: Manage a dynamic schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Experience Required: Previous experience in pet sitting or dog walking is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle energetic, large breeds comfortably.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and professional dependability is essential.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and provide proof of vaccinations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with pet owners.
