Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Lexington neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed client reports and pet behavior logs
- Use GPS tracking app for real-time location updates
- Adapt walks to individual pet needs (energy levels, size, breed)
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via text/email
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Smartphone proficiency with location tracking apps
