Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in various Phoenix neighborhoods, maintaining control and positive interaction
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks, reporting any concerns promptly
- Provide fresh water and ensure pets are comfortable during outdoor activities
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communication via our mobile app
- Administer basic care as needed (treats, waste cleanup, leash management)
- Adapt walking routes based on weather, pet energy levels, and client preferences
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all pets and pedestrians encountered
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record and reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to walk multiple dogs simultaneously with control and confidence
- Excellent communication skills and client service orientation
- Physical stamina for extended outdoor activity in Arizona climate
- Reliability and punctuality with flexible availability (weekends/holidays)
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification preferred
