Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in Jersey City parks and neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed activity logs and client communication updates
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for handling various dog breeds and temperaments
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments when required
- Uphold company standards for cleanliness and professionalism
- Respond promptly to client requests and schedule changes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS capability
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check
