Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Administer basic pet care (water, treats, waste cleanup)
- Maintain detailed pet behavior and health logs
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners
- Adapt walking routes based on weather conditions
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all animals
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Proven experience with dog handling/walking
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills with pet owners
- Ability to walk multiple dogs simultaneously
- Flexible availability including weekends
- Background check clearance required
- Must live within 10 miles of St. Petersburg
