Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise client dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as per client instructions
- Monitor pet health and behavior; report any concerns to owners
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks and pet interactions
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming facilities when required
- Practice strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Communicate professionally and promptly with pet owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old with reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Basic pet first aid knowledge (training provided)
- Strong communication skills and smartphone proficiency
- Passion for animal welfare and responsible pet care
- Availability for weekday and weekend mornings/evenings
