Responsibilities
- Safely walk 2-4 dogs per group using provided professional equipment
- Monitor pet behavior and health during outings
- Provide real-time GPS location updates via company app
- Clean up after pets and maintain pristine walking routes
- Administer basic first aid if needed and document incidents
- Build rapport with clients through detailed photo/video updates
- Adapt walks to individual pet needs (energy levels, weather)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to walk 3+ miles in Florida heat/humidity
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of dog behavior and breed characteristics
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based reporting
