Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in various Buffalo neighborhoods
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners
- Maintain detailed logs of walks and pet behaviors
- Administer basic care (hydration, medication if certified)
- Transport dogs to/from vet appointments or daycare
- Adapt walking routes based on weather conditions
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all animals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Exceptional knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Ability to manage multiple dogs simultaneously
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
