Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in urban and park environments
- Administer medication and provide basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and client communications
- Ensure all pets are secure with proper leash/harness handling
- Transport pets to vet appointments or playdates when required
- Report any behavioral or health concerns promptly
- Uphold company safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- CPR/First-Certification for pets preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Availability for weekend and early morning shifts
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to walk multiple dogs simultaneously (up to 4)
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
