Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in residential areas and designated parks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as requested
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and owner communication
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Transport pets to/from vet appointments or grooming sessions
- Manage scheduling and route optimization for efficiency
- Report any concerning pet behavior or health issues promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, breeds, and handling techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk 3+ miles daily
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
