Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously while maintaining control and ensuring their comfort
- Administer basic care including feeding, hydration, and waste cleanup during outings
- Monitor pets for health changes and document behavior observations
- Adhere strictly to client instructions regarding routes, duration, and special needs
- Transport pets in company vehicles following safety protocols
- Maintain accurate client records and appointment schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate proactively with pet owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to handle large dogs and walk up to 5 miles daily
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Reliable transportation with proof of insurance
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
