Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Provide real-time updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (water, waste cleanup, first aid) during walks
- Maintain accurate records of walk duration, behavior, and pet observations
- Adapt walking routes based on weather conditions and pet needs
- Build trust relationships with clients and their canine companions
- Attend monthly training sessions to refine handling skills
Qualifications
- Unwavering passion for dogs and animal welfare
- Reliable transportation and smartphone for app usage
- Physical ability to walk 3-5 miles daily in varying weather
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Availability for morning/evening shifts (5am-9pm)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR within 30 days (training provided)
- Ability to pass background check and animal handling evaluation
