Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4 per group)
- Provide transportation in company vehicles for vet/grooming appointments
- Administer medications and specialized care as needed
- Document pet behavior and client communications via mobile app
- Maintain clean equipment and sanitized environments
- Attend monthly pet care workshops
- Respond to client inquiries within 2 hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Knowledge of dog behavior and breed-specific needs
- Reliable transportation to Detroit neighborhoods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability for early morning/late afternoon shifts
