Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk 1-4 dogs at a time in designated Arlington neighborhoods
- Provide fresh water and administer basic care during walks
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each client's pet
- Adapt walks to dogs' temperaments and energy levels
- Report any health or behavioral concerns to pet owners promptly
- Follow strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Uphold professional standards in client communication and scheduling
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Physical ability to handle dogs up to 50 lbs
- Availability 15-25 hours weekly with flexible scheduling
