Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Honolulu neighborhoods
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication) as requested
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each pet
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and owners
- Participate in ongoing pet care training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid Hawaii driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills and tech-savvy
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to walk dogs in tropical weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Passion for animal welfare and remote work flexibility
