Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups per client specifications
- Provide attentive care during walks including hydration monitoring and waste cleanup
- Administer basic medications as required (training provided)
- Maintain detailed digital walk logs and client communication
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and owners
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments when needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with reliable transportation and smartphone
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to walk dogs of all sizes (up to 80 lbs) in varied weather
- Strong time management and punctuality skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable working independently and making quick decisions
- Love for animals and genuine compassion for their wellbeing
