- Safely leash and walk dogs in residential and park settings
- Provide timely feeding, fresh water, and waste cleanup
- Monitor pet behavior and report health concerns to owners
- Maintain accurate visit logs and client communication
- Adhere to safety protocols during all interactions
- Administer basic care (medication if certified)
- Transport pets to vet appointments (when required)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and walk in all weather
- Trustworthy background check required
- Knowledge of dog behavior and breed characteristics
