Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4 per group)
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks, documenting any concerns
- Administer basic care (water breaks, waste cleanup, leash corrections)
- Use our app to update owners with real-time photo/video updates
- Maintain strict adherence to client-specific care protocols
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or groomers as needed
- Participate in monthly safety and behavior training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle with pet-safe restraints
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Background check and drug screen required
