Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs individually or in small groups
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet parents
- Administer basic care (water, treats as instructed)
- Maintain accurate log of walks and pet behavior
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and client instructions
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and owners
- Transport pets to vet appointments when needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with valid driver's license & reliable vehicle
- Animal First Aid/CPR certification preferred (training provided)
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Smartphone with GPS and data plan
- Physical stamina for 4+ hour shifts
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- San Diego local residency required
