Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs (1-4 dogs per group) in designated Denver neighborhoods
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (water breaks, waste cleanup, leash management)
- Maintain detailed activity logs and behavioral notes for each pet
- Adapt walks to individual pet needs (energy levels, health requirements)
- Transport pets in company vehicles for off-leash park adventures
- Attend monthly training sessions on pet first aid and behavior handling
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience (boarding/daycare/volunteer)
- Valid US driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation (company vehicles provided for walks)
- Availability for weekday mornings/afternoons and weekend shifts
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and breed-specific traits
- Exceptional communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to walk 5+ miles daily in Denver weather conditions
