Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Richmond neighborhoods while maintaining control and ensuring pet safety
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as specified by pet owners
- Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed logs of services rendered and pet conditions
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app and text updates
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and animal handling standards
- Manage multiple walks efficiently while maintaining punctuality
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends (flexible scheduling)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk in various weather conditions
- Clean background check and positive references required
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets preferred
