Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4) in designated SF neighborhoods
- Administer medications and provide specialized care as requested by pet owners
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks, behavior notes, and client communications
- Uphold strict safety protocols during walks and in client homes
- Coordinate with pet owners via our mobile app for scheduling and updates
- Transport dogs in company-provided vehicles for park visits and playdates
- Participate in monthly training sessions on animal behavior and safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS capability
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to client requests
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong physical fitness and comfort handling large/excited dogs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to exceptional service
