Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in various New Orleans neighborhoods
- Provide companionship, playtime, and basic training reinforcement
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and owner communication
- Handle waste cleanup and maintain leash safety protocols
- Administer medications/treatments as per client instructions
- Adapt walks to weather conditions and pet-specific needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality
- Ability to handle multiple dogs simultaneously if required
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and breed characteristics
- Must pass comprehensive background check
