Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in various neighborhoods and parks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via mobile app
- Administer basic care (hydration, waste cleanup, behavior monitoring)
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, health observations, and services rendered
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and their owners
- Adapt walking routes based on weather conditions and pet needs
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming services as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong physical fitness for extended outdoor activity in coastal climate
- Excellent communication skills with pet owners
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with data plan
- Ability to handle large or reactive dogs safely
- Background check and drug screening required
