Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in various Wichita neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care
- Maintain detailed pet activity logs and client communication
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments and playgroups
- Practice strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Clean and maintain equipment/walking areas
- Report any pet health or behavioral concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year pet care experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 3+ miles daily
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR preferred
- Knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to work independently in various weather conditions
- Background check required
