Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 2-4 dogs at a time in designated Baltimore areas
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and fresh water during visits
- Maintain detailed digital logs of pet behavior, health, and activities
- Adhere strictly to client care protocols and emergency procedures
- Transport pets to vet appointments and dog parks as required
- Communicate proactively with owners via app and photo updates
- Clean and maintain pet equipment (leashes, harnesses, water bowls)
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and communication
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Trustworthy background check clearance
- Knowledge of Baltimore's pet-friendly parks and routes
