Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in residential and park settings
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via mobile app
- Administer basic care (water, treats, waste cleanup) during walks
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior and health observations
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming facilities
- Adhere strictly to client-specific handling and safety protocols
- Build trust through consistent, attentive care and communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to safely control large/strong dogs (up to 80 lbs)
- Exceptional time management and punctuality
- Smartphone proficiency for photo updates and scheduling apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Local knowledge of Chandler's pet-friendly areas
