Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously while maintaining control and ensuring their well-being
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime as per client instructions
- Monitor pets for health changes or behavioral issues and report to owners promptly
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks, services provided, and pet observations
- Transport pets to vet appointments, grooming, or daycare using company vehicles
- Uphold strict cleanliness standards during walks and at client properties
- Build positive relationships with clients through consistent communication and trust
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- First Aid/CPR certification for pets (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
