Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 3 per handler) in designated Toledo neighborhoods
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication if certified) during visits
- Maintain detailed digital logs of pet behavior and health observations
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Transport dogs to vet appointments or daycare when needed
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build trust-based relationships with clients and their pets
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience (dog walking, boarding, grooming)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal transportation (vehicle or insured bike)
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication skills and smartphone proficiency
- Ability to handle dogs up to 70 lbs comfortably
- Flexible availability mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Must pass comprehensive background check
