Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (1-4 per group) in Anaheim's parks and residential areas
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (water, treats, medication) as specified in client instructions
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, exercise duration, and notable observations
- Transport dogs to/from veterinary appointments or daycare when needed
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions and outings
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR required (or willing to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Exceptional time management and punctuality skills
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes (up to 80 lbs) temperaments
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Physical stamina for extended outdoor activity in varying weather
- Must pass background check and drug screening
