Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable leash walks for 2-4 dogs per outing
- Administer medications and basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed activity logs and client communication
- Practice responsible pet waste removal and environmental stewardship
- Adapt walking routes to weather conditions and dog capabilities
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all animals in your care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid Alaska driver's license and reliable vehicle
- First Aid/CPR certification for pets preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk in varied terrain
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check
- Local Anchorage residency required
