Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 3-5 dogs simultaneously in Buffalo's neighborhoods and parks
- Administer medications and provide basic first aid when necessary
- Maintain detailed digital logs of pet behaviors, feeding schedules, and notable events
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming services
- Implement positive reinforcement training techniques during outings
- Build strong client relationships through regular communication updates
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk up to 5 miles daily
- Strong knowledge of canine behavior and handling techniques
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Buffalo local with familiarity with city parks and neighborhoods
